The Inland Chinese American Alliance founders Karen and her husband Roger Cheng, who moved to Riverside in 1987, have been active in serving the Riverside community and participating in various organizations ever since. Considering that the Inland areas need more tangible public services, in 2018, the Inland Chinese American Alliance of America (ICAA) was established independently and has been actively participating in the Spring Festival celebration activities in Riverside City for many years. ICAA has organized many community events since its inception; the most important ones include the “Zhu Zongqing Percussion Band” performance at our famous Riverside Fox Theater, and we donated at least 50,000 N95 masks, other protective equipment as well as disinfection products in 2020-2021 to local hospitals, nursing homes, veteran homes , City government, Police Department, Riverside Fire Department. We also organized lectures on suicide prevention, on laws & self-defense, and on laws and regulations related to the management of rental properties. In addition, we’ve organized fruit picking activities, Chinese cultural exhibitions, barbecue events, and hiking trips. Since 2018, we’ve also organized “Feeding Homeless” annually before Christmas. For all of this, we utilize WeChat to reach thousands of our members!

We are also actively prompting Chinese culture and exchange with other ethnic cultures for mutual understanding and collaboration in the Inland Empire through different channels, and we hope to attract more people and businesses to our Inland Empire area.

美国内陆华美协会10项宗旨：

1) 每年协办河滨市农历新年园游会及主办各类社区活动，成为本地华人与主流社区的桥梁；
2) 开设中文学校，教授中国文化和语言，举办文化交流活动，推广中华文化艺术；
3）成立Riverside保护中国亭基金会，保护有30年的中国亭，努力使之成为历史地标( History landmark )；
4）每年多次办华人精神心理讲座，服务内陆及周边华人社区乡民，争取华人权益和社会地位 ；
5) 藉由美国内陆华美协会（Inland Chinese American Alliance）所拥有的7大微信群，Facebook，twitter等媒体来提供华人在美生活的资讯；
6) 藉由重阳端午中秋旅游、单身交流、亲子关系等活动来促进海内海外华人之间的互动，交谊及团结互助 ；
7) 长期与美国CDC合作项目SSG-健康保健服务。
8) 藉由中美报章文宣，协助在美华人融入参与宣扬中美文化的交流；
9) 鼓励华人参与社区及政经（投资内陆地区、重视在美华商）的活动。
10）联盟内陆房东，提供咨询及互助协助，并办不定期演讲活动，服务来内陆投资的朋友。
